Port Marlborough Shipping Schedules, subject to change
We’re making moves to put a more intense spotlight on our environmental performance.
If you are a regular Port user, a visitor, an operator or a contractor, you must complete a Port User Induction.
Picton is the South Island terminal port for New Zealand’s inter-island passenger and freight ferries. The Port is naturally deep and Waimahara Wharf at Shakespeare Bay can accommodate cargo vessels up to 13.5m draft and cruise ships up to 320m long.
Port Marlborough operates a diverse range of port facilities and services in and around Picton and Havelock, at the heads of Queen Charlotte and Pelorus Sounds at the top of the South Island.
We stay connected with our communities through our involvement with community groups including local schools, the Picton Regional Forum, the Cruise Think Tank, Pelorus Promotions, and more.
Port Marlborough has an extensive range of environmental controls and monitoring programmes in place to overview and regulate our daily work consistent with environmental standards, resource consents and community expectations.
