New Appointments to Board of Directors

NEW APPOINTMENTS TO PORT MARLBOROUGH BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Two local businessmen have been appointed to the Board of Port Marlborough NZ Limited to take effect from the company’s Annual General Meeting in December 2008. The two new directors, both of whom reside in Picton, are Mr David Wilkie and Mr David Brown.

Mr Wilkie is an environmental engineer who has had an extensive and distinguished career with Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Engineers and is the recipient of several awards for excellence in engineering.

Mr Brown currently consults to and holds directorships with a number of companies that operate in the transport, property, finance, technology, and consultancy sectors, including Gough Holdings Ltd. He is President of Coastguard Marlborough and a Fellow of NZIM.

Mr David Dew, current Chair of the Port Marlborough Board retires at the end of the year.

In other changes to the Board of Directors Mr Martin Fletcher, Marlborough District Council’s Manager of Corporate Finance, has been appointed as Council’s representative replacing Mr John Patterson.
