Two doctors reside in Picton with clinics held throughout the week. A major Hospital is located at Blenheim, 35km by road - ambulance service available.

Crew changes can be made.

Blenheim Airport (Marlborough) – 36km by road from Picton, served by feeder services to Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.  A local airline also provides a service to Wellington.
